Remodeling your home and being happy throughout the process should not be mutually-exclusive things!  Our people and our transparent, no-surprises, design/build process ensure that’s the case. We’ve been keeping happy people happy since 1992!

Remodel . . . be happy.

Making it look like it’s always been there or making a bold statement…your choice.

While our “repertoire” includes contemporary design, we first established a reputation for working with classical period detailing. In our ample woodworking shop we duplicate and/or emulate existing mouldings and casework to make our new work blend right in with the old. Most importantly, we have the in-house talent to assist you in figuring out what’s right for your home and your tastes, and then make it happen on-time, on-budget, with no surprises.

  • They just finished a major project for us. They are top notch in every way; responsive, thorough, easy to work with, and they have this wacky idea that a project in progress should be worked on until it is finished. They are not necessarily the low bidders, but I think you will be pleased with their work.

  • Both as a subcontractor and a client of Out of the Woods, I've been very impressed with the workmanship and integrity of the company.

  • Out of the Woods did a great job on our addition, both in the quality of their work and in keeping to the agreed-upon timeframe and budget. The carpentry was excellent, including some very tricky joinery where the new and existing roof overhangs met. The subcontractors they supplied for roofing and laying floor tiles also did high quality work. When a problem did arise it was dealt with very quickly and effectively. We would happily work with Greg and his team again on any future projects.

  • Firstly, working with you and the crew was truly a collaborative experience. There was frequent and open exchange of ideas on many aspects of the design and ideas were offered by all parties involved. Once a design was agreed upon, the work commenced and finished pretty much on time. The fine craftsmanship involved is evident in the results. Both jobs done were the closest to a pleasant experience one can have when undergoing rehab of an older home. It is evident that you approach you work with integrity and skill and that you look for the same qualities in your subcontractors and crew. And I keep thinking about that first floor bathroom . . . maybe next year.
